The hotel-restaurant "O'Château", a former residence built in 1906 by the ironmaster Guy de Wendel, will amaze you. Ready for the visit? After pushing the majestic entrance door, our eyes catch on a gleaming white grand piano. Is there a musical atmosphere at the end of its nose? After a quick check in with Patricia and Olivier, we discover the room. The monumental staircase plunges us into the industrial past of the region. When we discover the room, surprise! We are far from the heavy hangings and tapestries. We are far from heavy wall hangings and tapestries, but instead we have a clean, sober, chic and tasteful look. Contemporary spirit and vintage elegance make a perfect marriage in these unique decorations behind each door. Even the towels have their own place. The restaurant offers a completely different living space with a view of the wooded park inviting the guest to dine in complete serenity. For those who want to sleep late, the basement has a Prohibition-style speakeasy atmosphere and offers a range of cocktails, wines, whisky and champagne to prolong the evening before taking a rest. All this, of course, in moderation. Are the sculpted Jaumont stone faces there to remind us of our conscience? A mystery!
