The region is very beautiful, with many fine sites to visit (Saint-Cirq-Lapopie, Puy-l'évêque, Rocamadour, the PADIRAC chasm, the Pech Merle caves...)
Practical info: the town of Cahors is served by free shuttle buses with park-and-ride facilities, just 700m from the gîte.
