The Abbey of Notre Dame de Chéhéry is an ancient Cistercian abbey built in the 12th century. After a period of prosperity, followed by troubles during the major events of the Middle Ages (Hundred Years War, Fronde), it was rebuilt in the mid-18th century in the purest classical style. The monks left during the French Revolution. The abbey, a true art of living! Restoration of the buildings, honey production, the birth of a vineyard... a multitude of projects are underway to bring the place back to life.
