The restaurant is on the edge of Monein, a village in the heart of the Jurançon ‘appellation contrôlée’ region, on the road leading to the church of St. Girons with its incredible roof structure. It’s a restaurant with a pub like atmosphere where the menu changes daily according to what is in season. Try the two ‘Regional Platters’:
- Assiette Loupien : pan fried foie gras in a Jurançon sauce, served with sautéed potatoes, a rocket salad with Roussanne peaches, sheep’s cheese and a glass of Jurançon white wine.
- Pause Loupien - duck breast served with potatoes, sliced Roussanne peaches and rocket, sheep’s cheese and a glass of Jurançon white wine.
The terrace is perfect for lunch before visiting the church.
