Festival halle aux Bulles - 5e édition

The Breslois comic strip festival, supported by the Communauté d?agglomération du Beauvaisis, returns this Saturday, September 14th with an unexpected theme!

This year, Thomas Priou, illustrator of "The Raving Rabbids" series (© Glénat / © Ubisoft), has illustrated the official poster featuring the famous Raving Rabbids! An ideal opportunity to highlight the link between comics and video games through a rich and original program.

All day long, thanks to the MageekWorld association, festival-goers will be able to take advantage of a platform featuring a dozen retro consoles on which to (re)discover games adapted from comics and manga.

Members of the Les 10 lunes cosplay association will be on hand all day long, in costumes inspired by famous video game characters. The comic strip company Il était une fois, meanwhile, will be hosting a battle between two guest authors! A unique, participatory event not to be missed!

In addition to these new events, you can also take part in the festival?s more traditional activities, such as author signings and workshops, live drawings, the giant digital quiz, the leisure center?s creative workshops, and various exhibitions.

As for our partners, the town of Bresles will once again be hosting the Bulle en Stock bookshop, which will be selling hundreds of albums, including those by guest authors. The mediatheque départementale de l'Oise will have more surprises in store for festival-goers in its BD bus, and the Déhu hut will represent the Université Picardie Jules Verne, presenting its Licence and Master métiers de la bande dessinée! New this year, Emmanuel Flocher, artisan marker, will showcase his meticulous work depicting comic strip characters on wood.

Finally, the festival comes to a close in the evening with an 8:30 p.m. screening of "Super Mario Bros". A family film in keeping with the theme of this year?s festival!
