Located in Castétis, near Orthez, Alain Jouanlong, is one of the last pewter and coppersmiths in the region; he started work over 30 years ago and has an exhibition centre which is open to the public. It is well worth a visit just to admire the stunning craftsmanship and with a wide selection of items for sale, there are gift ideas for all tastes and at a range of prices including decorative and useful objects for both traditional and contemporary interiors. Exterior products include house names, weather vanes, and roof spikes.
A cleaning and repair service is also available along with a kitchen utensil replating service.
