The hamlet of Saint-Léon is a part of the commune of Walscheid. The points not to be missed in this hamlet are the chapel Saint-Léon and the cave of the same name. The latter has a depth of 32 metres, a width of 24 metres and a height of 8 metres. On a rock face to the left of the entrance is a commemorative plaque, recalling the memory of Pope St. Leo IX who would have often withdrawn here. From his youth, he would have come to pray and meditate in this cathedral of nature.
