Built by architect Claude Parent in 1966 in the Banlay district, Sainte Bernadette church was listed as a historic monument in 2000. "It's a very intentional church where nothing is left to chance [...]. [...]. This breastplate, a terrible place whose threshold is difficult to cross, opens onto a protective interior space". (Claude Parent).
From 6 October 2025, the church of Saint Bernadette in Le Banlay will undergo a phase of works (exterior). Visits and reception will be suspended during this period.
