Fontaine Saint Roch de Champagnac la Rivière

Saint Roch is one of Champagnac La Rivière's five "good fountains". It is located at La Boissonnie on the Chapelières road. At the end of the village, on the road to Dournazac, is the chapel, formerly renovated, which houses the saint. From the village, take the RD 75 to the village of La Boissonnie. As you leave the village, turn left at the crossroads to see the Chapelle Saint Roch. This fountain is said to have the virtue of bringing rain. Indeed, in procession, people used to dip the saint's feet in the fountain to obtain rain. Please respect private property.
