Les bergeronnettes

In the "mountain resort" of Wangenbourg-Engenthal, already classified as a "climatic" and tourist resort in 1929, the gîte "les Bergeronnettes" is located on the edge of the Mossig torrent, in the Engenthal valley (narrow valley), set between several peaks of the Schneeberg massif
(961m).
Nicknamed the "Switzerland of Alsace" for its dispersed habitat and the origin of its inhabitants, the village benefits from a calm and preserved natural environment forming a setting conducive to rest and relaxation.

The setting is ideal for nature activities
The house is located directly on the hiking trails, at the crossroads of four
of the Trans-Vosgian GRs (GR 53, GR 531, GR 532 and GR 534), adjacent to the 'stopover lodge' of the
"Refuge du Grand-Tétras"
The same goes for mountain biking, as it is located right in the middle of the marked trails of the Schneeberg massif and close to the TMV (Traversée du Massif Vosgien).
The same goes for cycling which, between the Valsberg, Pandours and Hengst passes, is also king here.

At the same time, it is a very interesting base for discovering Alsace: the great tourist classics (Saverne, Marmoutier, "Route des Vins", Obernai, Mont Sainte-Odile,...), as well as the more secret corners that the owners of the place will be able to make you discover.
Ideal also for the visit of Strasbourg with several shuttle buses at the fixed price of 2,50€
the ride.
Several high places in nearby Lorraine are also accessible (Dabo, Plan Incliné de Saint-Louis - Arzviller, Sarrebourg, Parc animalier de Sainte-Croix,...)

The "Bergeronnettes" holiday cottage is on the ground floor of a house (former forge) dating from 1831
It has a separate entrance and is surrounded by a small courtyard and a terrace overlooking the stream.
Entirely renovated and refurbished, it tries to combine comfort and rusticity, and to be in harmony with the Vosges forest and mountain spirit that surrounds it (all the woodwork comes from the local forest).
With a surface area of 75m2, it offers a beautiful dining room/living room and a double bedroom
a spacious kitchen; sanitary facilities (washbasins, shower, with separate toilet)
various storage spaces.
With a convertible sofa bed, it can accommodate 2 to 4 people.
It is also equipped to receive a small child (bed + baby chair).

Rates :
Week : 390€ per week
Both nights: 140€ / 50€ extra night.
Deposit : 50€ + 40€ cleaning
