In the town centre, La Casa offers traditional food based on fresh, local produce. The different authentic main courses and delicious desserts can be sampled à la carte or on the set menu. Why not try the ‘Heart of Béarn Regional Platter’, a salad with Bayonne ham, duck pie made with sweet potato and sheep’s cheese with black cherry jam, served with a glass of Béarn ‘appellation contrôlée’ red wine. There’s a pleasant terrace with adequate shade provided by the plane trees for even the hottest of days and parking is no problem with a municipal car park (by the Moncade tower) close by.
