Pôle des énergies

Building on the town of Bourganeuf?s industrial past, the Museum of Electrification has been replaced by the Pôle des Énergies since 2022.

Dedicated to electricity, this site is a place for demonstration and reflection on the development of renewable energies, in a rural setting. As a municipality with the "Territoire à Énergie Positive pour la Croissance Verte" (Positive Energy Territory for Green Growth) label, the Pôle reflects our commitment to the concept of energy transition.

Discover the history of energy in the museographic area, as well as the hydroelectric and photovoltaic installations. An energy-mix demonstrator gives you the chance to discover the production, consumption and environmental impact of electricity in an entertaining and/or professional way, and to simulate the consumption of a home using "green" energy.
