Close to the village of Castagnède, take the paths that cross the agricultural fields of the Gave d'Oloron plain to reach this picnic area. You will be charmed by the place : isolated behind the farmland, on the edge of the river, with shade and sun to please everyone, this area has many assets.
Situated next to a 2nd category fishing pool, you can take advantage of it to try your hand at this sport in complete tranquillity. Explanatory panels explain the rules and the species of fish you can catch. Don't forget to get a fishing card beforehand! A shelter welcomes you in case of bad weather or on the contrary of full sun. Four tables, barbecues, rubbish bins, a petanque area and bike racks are waiting for you on the spot.
