The abbey is located on a magnificent site in the Gardiole mountain range, with a view extending to the Etang de Thau lagoon, the Canigou mountain range and the Montpellier plains, surrounded by a variety of mountain habitats. The Mediaeval Monastic Gardens created 10 years ago attract many visitors, as do the majestic ruins. You can reach the abbey easily from the car park at the foot of the monument.
