Karin is an art goldsmith, she creates metal jewellery sometimes accompanied by beautiful stones.
"When I sketch a piece of jewelry, it comes from an impulse that is hard to describe, which is the 'need to create'. Only the precious metal, me and my senses will determine the beauty and final accuracy of the jewel. Nature is my inspiring ally. I consider the hard work of flattening, bending, stretching, hammering the stiff metal and almost obtaining as an obvious result a jewel of delicate finesse as a "satisfying search". Thus the technique used and the dead material become a little piece of living heat from myself."
