Created to showcase the ruins of the 10th century castle, the English park of the castle of Preisch takes its visitor on a stroll full of romanticism and poetry. Several imported rare species are displayed in the alleys. Bald cypresses, beech trees, magnolias and ginkgo biloba can be found in a park covering more than 50 hectares. A botanical and poetic trail will teach you the secrets of the trees with the help of markers and an accompanying booklet. A herd of Hampshire sheep maintains the estate and is a joy for children.
Entrance to the garden includes a self-guided tour of the English Garden, the botanical trail, the old topiary garden with its permaculture vegetable garden and old-fashioned wooden games, and the footprints hunt.
