Bouzemont is a very old village full of legends and its church Saint-Georges is one of the oldest in the Vosges department. It was built in 1065 by Udon, bishop of Toul, and belonged to the chapter of Saint-Gengoult. Part of the bell tower and the arcades of the nave remain from the original building (M.H.) The bay at the end of the south aisle dates from the 13th century. As for the vaults and the pentagonal choir, they date from 1534, the year in which the original church was more or less refurbished.
Only the exterior can be visited.
