The holiday guest-house « La maison du bouchonnier » is located in a quiet street in the centre of the little town of Mezin, near the city of Agen in the South West of France. Located halfway between Bordeaux and Toulouse, it is a little medieval town tucked in between rolling hills, sunflower fields and vineyards. Its location in the heart of Gascogne at the edge of the Landes forest offers many possibilities during your stay, from visiting local produce markets in the neighbouring towns, visits to the many castles and bastides, as well as local vineyards of Cote De Gascogne and Armagnac. This is the ideal home for a restful or active holiday in the lovely and hearty french country side of the South West, famous for its wines, local food and lifestyle. Come and live "la douce France".
