Aire de pique-nique

The fortified city of Navarrenx is located in Béarn des Gaves, about 20 kilometres from Sauveterre-de-Béarn. Navarrenx is known for its majestic ramparts, whose construction dates back to a century before Vauban. They are still intact today, as are all the military constructions.
Several picnic areas are accessible in the town: in the esplanade area near the small playground with slide for the children and the petanque ground for the adults; next to the swimming pool and in front of the beautiful fortifications; on the edge of the Gave d'Oloron where you can enjoy the calm and the beauty of the landscape; Further outside, two other picnic areas are also proposed. The first one at the roundabout of Mourenx on the roadside, and finally, on the road towards Mourenx/Pau, in the woods of Navarrenx, two kilometres from the centre.
