JUNIVILLE, Village Fleuri "3 Fleurs "Awarded 1st in 2004, 2nd in 2006 and 3rd in 2012Juniville is a village of 1,200 inhabitants known as the Junivillois.15km from Rethel, 25km from Vouziers, 60km from Charleville-Mézières and 35km from Reims (Marne), it is part of the Communauté de Communes du Junivillois.La Retourne is the river that runs through the commune.Particularities:Verlaine lived in Juniville for 2 years in a house he rented opposite the Lion d'Or inn.Albert Meunier was Senator and Deputy for the Ardennes from 1930 to 1939.Lucie Gabreau, former village teacher, kept and bound the drawings of her kindergarten pupils and donated a plot of land on which the Maison d'Accueil Rurale des Personnes Agées (rural home for the elderly) was built.Saint Amand church dates back to the 12th century and has been frequently remodeled.
