Although the facade of this traditional house has been rendered later, it still retains the three-bay layout typical of the agrarian system in north-eastern France. From left to right, you'll find spaces that were once used to house large animals, the barn used to store fodder and grain, and the men's living quarters. Note the small, round "oeil de boeuf" opening and the Vosges influence visible in the shape of the lintel above the barn door. In the courtyard, a handsome hand pump with a stone trough sits atop a coping.
