The Hôtel de Saint-Lô (1574) is remarkable for its façade preceded by three large arcades supporting a balcony with a wrought iron railing. The house of Hans Billex (1615), a neighbour, seduces by its two-storey oriel and its pilastered portal. In 1649, the royal commissioner Jean de Saint-Lô placed the two buildings side by side by means of a stair turret. The ensemble thus formed is representative of the late Alsatian Renaissance
In the courtyard (courtyard of the Sisters of Niederbronn) a garden has been laid out where all sorts of dahlias bloom, evoking the city's famous corso fleuri. A picturesque shed contains a set of old gardening tools. When winter comes, the garden is transformed into a fir tree garden (1521, first mention of the Christmas tree obliges). An ephemeral forest garden brought to light throughout the month of December with the discovery of different species and essences of fir trees
