Vélorail et Train Touristique du Larzac

We offer you an unusual journey!
Come and discover an old railroad line by velorail and/or tourist train, offering grandiose landscapes and a rich heritage of railway engineering structures, with 12 tunnels and 6 viaducts. A fun excursion to the Larzac plateau, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Enjoy panoramic views over the Cernon valley and the Templar capital of Ste Eulalie de Cernon.
Our activity offers several effortless routes.

VELORAIL
Les Papillons route: 4 km uphill by velorail to Le Rouquet, return by velorail all the way downhill to Ste Eulalie de Cernon station (1 Viaduct, 3 Tunnels). All Les Papillons velorails are equipped with electric assistance

Les Orchidées route : Downhill 8km by velorail, effortlessly, to Bastide Pradines station, return by tourist train to Ste Eulalie de Cernon station (3 Viaducts, 4 Tunnels)
Duration approx. 2 hrs
Larzac Express tour: Return trip by tourist train from Ste Eulalie de Cernon to Bastide Pradines station (3 viaducts, 4 tunnels) to discover the Cernon valley.

BUT ALSO
We also offer full-day tours of Ste-Eulalie de Cernon. On these days, you'll set off in the morning on the rails of the Orchid route and have lunch in our Gourmand train or at the Hôtel de la Poste. In the afternoon, you can choose between several visits: the Templar and Hospitaller Commandery of Ste-Eulalie, a visit to the Reptilarium du Larzac or a visit/snack at the Frayssinet farm.
