The TAC, train de l'Andorge en Cévennes, runs along part of the old departmental railroad linking Florac to Sainte-Cécile-d'Andorge, through the winding Cévennes valleys.
Aboard a small tourist train brought back into service by enthusiastic volunteers, you'll find the bucolic atmosphere of the journeys of yesteryear as you travel through viaducts and tunnels.
The outward and return journey (2x1450m) takes in not only the scenery, but also several engineering structures such as the viaduct over the Andorge (a viaduct with 4 elliptical arches, 25 m high) and the Bramefont tunnel (82 m long), which bear witness to the work carried out 100 years ago during the construction of the CFD.
With a track gauge of 400 mm, this train can carry 60 passengers. Departure and arrival are from Ste Cécile d'Andorge station.
