18th and 19th centuries - Frontenac and Castillon hard limestone.
This restored one-storey house is built in the style of a longère, with a terrace, due to the southeasterly slope of the land. This orientation was favored in the 19th century, whereas in the 14th and 15th centuries, facades were sometimes built to the east. The buildings on either side of the dwelling were still used for multi-purpose farming in the early 20th century. They housed a barn-stable, with lodgings for tenant farmers or servants, and a wine storehouse, also used for harvest storage. The outbuildings also housed a shed for carts, dump trucks, horse-drawn carriages and farming tools. The courtyard, formed by the three buildings, was used as a threshing floor, housing a large roller-cylinder, mistakenly called a "millstone"...
