The CIAP is a great way to discover the Pays d'art et d'histoire de Parthenay-Gâtine. Located in the Maison du Patrimoine, a former flour mill on the banks of the River Thouet, it lets you discover the region's heritage through the "Sculpture, architectural décor" exhibition!
The exhibition invites you to discover the sculptural decorations in stone or wood that adorn the region's buildings, thanks to beautiful eye-level photographs that will make you want to go and admire the sculptures in situ!
Some real sculptures are presented in this exhibition, which highlights the close links between architecture and its decorations, and whose artistic and playful approach will win you over!
