The gîte is 8km from Ahun, a town with all shops and services. Just 7km away, Le Moutier d'Ahun is a great place to visit and explore the river Creuse, with its nature and heritage including an old bridge in pure Romanesque style and a church founded in the 12th century. 7 km away, in the charming village of Sous-Parsat, you can enter the colorful, artistic world of Gabriel Chabrat and discover the church interiors "revisited" by the Creuse painter. Then it's off to the world capital of tapestry, Aubusson, 30km away, where you'll be guided through the town and leave with plenty of souvenirs? An impressive visit! You'll love it!
