This cultural establishment of the city of Limoges illustrates the values of citizenship and solidarity espoused by the Resistance during the Second World War. Dedicated to all those who sacrificed their lives to defend the fundamental values of the Republic, it aims to keep the memory alive by providing a place for education and the dissemination of information. Located in the former convent of the S?urs de la Providence in the heart of the Cité district, it offers a museographic tour that rigorously retraces the historical events of the Second World War, and in particular the Resistance, the Occupation and the Deportation in Haute-Vienne.
