We have restored an old bread oven on our small farm to make a comfortable retreat in a quiet corner of the Dordogne. The kitchen and bathroom combine modern fittings with old beams and masonry, while the comfortable living room has a wood burning stove and the original paddle for the old bread oven, when the renovation work was completed
It is an ideal base for an active holiday (many options nearby), but the nightlife is all about sharing the stars with the owls and a bottle of wine.
