A 5-minute walk from the center of Argentat on the banks of the Dordogne. You'll love strolling along the old-fashioned cobbled quays to admire the fishermen's houses with their lauze roofs, noble facades and turrets. Rue Sainte-Claire boasts a number of fine residences, including the Hôtel de Turenne. Things to do nearby: Swimming pools, Aquarécréatifs, Canoeing, Fishing, Mountain biking, Horse riding, Hiking.... Markets: 2nd, 4th and possibly 5th Thursday mornings of the month. Local, pesticide-free farmers' market on Sunday mornings at Place de l'Eglise.
