It's hard to resist discovering the area's rich past: Salies-de-Béarn and its salt, Sauveterre and its medieval past. The surrounding countryside encourages you to take to the various hiking trails, another great way to get some fresh air and enjoy the sights.
For the more sporty, why not try your hand at water activities such as rafting or canoeing.... on the Gave d'Oloron. Not far from here you can also discover Béarn and the Basque Country.
