Situated at the top of a hill and visible from afar with its powerful bell tower, the church of Bromeilles, whose vessel dates from the 13th century, has been classified as a Historic Monument since 1913.
Once under the jurisdiction of the Archbishop of Sens, the church of Bromeilles is dedicated to Saint Loup, whose relics were the object of a pilgrimage. This high vessel with a single nave ending in a cul-de-four apse was built in the 12th and 13th centuries, probably on top of an older building. The bell tower, partly demolished in 1863 by lightning, was rebuilt from the arches of the last arcature, as well as the cornice and the spire flanked at its base by four bells.
