Jardin de Cistus

Created in 1996 on the site of a meadow, this beautiful garden has been designed by enthusiasts who, with a view to observing nature, have planted plants selected for their shape, content or sometimes their scent, in order to constantly renew the interest of the place. You'll be amazed by this 9500m² space all year round. Close to the Argenton river, it features numerous conifers, holm oaks, magnolias and deciduous species.
In a succession of different atmospheres, visitors will also discover flowering shrubs (malus, prunus, cornus, halesia, clérodendrons), several rockroses and heathland plants. Various beds planted with harmoniously colored perennials enhance this little corner of paradise. The garden was awarded the Remarkable Garden label at the end of 2015.
