Domaine des Gabies is the only vineyard in the Haute-Vienne region, located 10 km from Limoges.
The department has a long history of winegrowing, particularly in the commune of Verneuil-sur-Vienne, where vines and wine have been cultivated for several centuries.
Marie-Hélène DENIS has returned to her roots, descended from a family of winegrowers at La Merlie. In 2016, she took over the vineyard, replanted in 1995 on the slopes of the Vienne, where her ancestors produced wine until the early 1980s.
An independent winemaker, she now works with a burgeoning passion on the vines and the wines. Organic farming estate.
