La Templière

The gîte "La Templière" welcomes you to the hamlet of Avalleur, a historic site housing the Commandery and the 11th century Templar chapel. Located 30 km from Troyes, this Champagne house of character benefits from an enclosed garden with trees and is ideally centered to discover all the tourist activities in the Aube.
On the ground floor: kitchen, dining room, living room, bathroom (bathtub + washbasin), separate toilet. On the first floor: 3 double bedrooms, (including 1 bed 160/200), shower room (shower + basin + toilet), relaxation area on the mezzanine with sofa bed allowing 2 additional beds. Charges not included: 3 to 7 € / day depending on the season. Visitor's tax to be paid on the spot.

"Le circuit des Templiers" : Bar sur Seine and its surroundings will transport you from the origin of the order of the Templars to the present day!
Regional Natural Park of the Forêt d'Orient at 20 km, visit of cellars and champagne tasting, Nigloland Park at 20 min, the city of Troyes with its historical and architectural heritage, its factory shops at 30 min. For the sportsmen: canoeing and kayaking on the Seine, golf, fishing, cycling (mountain biking and cycling tours), water activities on the lakes, many hiking trails.
