Altitude: 356 m.
Located between the municipalities of Poissons and Montreuil-sur-Thonnance, the Col des Lacets de Mélaire offers a beautiful viewpoint over the valley and the famous hairpin bends. It is the preferred crossing point between the Rongeant valley to the south and the Mont creek valley to the north. This pass is framed to the west by the locality "Calais," which rises to 391 m, and by the "Montagne," which also has a maximum altitude of 391 m. It is equipped with a large parking lot that can accommodate motorhomes.
This is the 2nd pass listed by the Haute-Marne Departmental Cycling Tourism Committee.
