Maintained in its original state, a visit to the building takes you back in time to the troubled interwar period, to one of the most incredible technical achievements of its time. Told by passionate volunteers, this very special story never ceases to amaze visitors from France and all over the world. It's one of the few structures to feature an ashlar gallery. At the end of the visit, you can climb the "Galgenberg", the hill from which it takes its name, and which offers a magnificent panorama of the Moselle valley at its summit!
Bring warm clothes and good shoes. Opening dates for 2025 will be available in February on the website of the Association de la Ligne Maginot de Cattenom et Environs.
