Nestled in the hollow of two remarkable geological sites: the hill of the Four Sons Aymon - which proudly displays its Cambrian quartzite spurs that gave rise to the famous Carolingian legend - and the Hermitage viewpoint - known for its Devonian pudding -, the Ardennes Mineral, Rock and Fossil Exhibit Center unveils in its nine rooms all the interest and beauty of Ardennes geology. It was in June 1990, thanks to a handful of members of the Mineralogical and Paleontological Association of Bogny-sur-Meuse (A.M.P.B.), that the town of Bogny and the Ardennes, a land of geology that has always attracted researchers and of which several towns have served as references for stages such as the Revinian, Devillian or Givétien, were endowed with this museum located on the edge of the road linking Charleville-Mézières to Givet. Opening : April to September (except July/August) : from Tuesday to Saturday from 10am to 12pm and from 2pm to 6pmJuly and August : from Wednesday to Sunday from 10am to 12pm and from 2pm to 6pm
