About a kilometre away from the baths in Préchacq-les-Bains, Roland and his wife offer a 40 m² furnished holiday rental. It adjoins the owners’ home and includes Internet access. Sit back and appreciate the orchard from the terrace. You can even walk to the spa from there. For your groceries, the neighbouring town of Pontonx-sur-l’Adour (4 kilometres away) has everything you need. In front of the entrance to the spa, follow the forest path to the Trou de Madame, the old thermal therapy spot which was still in operation up until the 1960s. Looking for tourist information? In addition to its brick and mortar location in Montfort-en-Chalosse (where you can tour the fortified town and visit the Chalosse Museum), the Tourist Office attends the spa’s weekly welcome party, Mondays at 4:30 pm. Bonus: The farmers’ market in front of the spa, Saturday mornings from mid-March to mid-November.
