This trail takes you from spring to spring, starting at Les Basses Huttes (download document). There are six of them: Amélie, Blandine, Catherine, Madelon, Laurence and Elodie. No, the Madelon doesn't come to serve you a drink like in the song, but this spring was used to supply French soldiers during the 1st World War.
To quench your thirst or eat a snack, stop off at this pleasantly shaded picnic area. The view is splendid, a real feast for the eyes.
