Manuel and his wife will welcome you to Préchacq-les-Bains in Chalosse. Are you coming to Préchacq for spa therapy? The rental is just 3.5 kilometres from the baths. Close to the owners’ home, this 54 m² house opens onto a terrace with garden furniture, where you can relax as you gaze out at the owners’ garden in bloom. In the kitchen, which is separate from the lounge, you can prepare tasty dishes from the local products you find at the market in front of the spa on Saturday mornings. Once your treatments are complete, head for the shops in Pontonx-sur-l’Adour, 5 kilometres away. You can also stop by the Tourist Office in Montfort-en-Chalosse. While you’re there, visit the Chalosse Museum and tour the 13th century fortified town. Bonus: A hiking trail along the Louts, just a short distance from the rental (hiking guide no. 4, for sale at the Tourist Office for €2).
