Very romantic! Experience a unique medieval dwelling with all the modern comforts
At the entrance of the Castral village of Saint-Lary, this former castle guard house, made of stone with beautiful loopholes and a chimney from the 12th century is a perfect representation of the rural habitat of the Middle Ages. If you are lucky, you will be able to see the owl that watches over the place! Opening on a dead end, you will reach the pretty restored stone square with its (private) 13th and 17th century castle. Opposite the village, there is a Gallo-Roman pile: a country walk can easily lead you there (superb view of the valley). The "chemin des crêtes" is the preferred route for walkers who want fresh air, peace and quiet and unique views of the countryside and the Pyrenees. Entrance hall, kitchen/dining room, bathroom/wc, laundry room. 1st floor: 1 bedroom (1 double bed, washbasin/wc), large lounge (sofa bed). 2nd floor: 1 attic bedroom (height: 1.5/2.5m) with 2 single beds.
