Housed in an old winegrower's house typical of the region, this character-filled gîte welcomes you to a peaceful setting just a stone's throw from the banks of the Orbieu, a small river that winds its way through the hills of the Corbières. Nestled halfway between Carcassonne and Narbonne, it's the ideal base for exploring the treasures of Cathar country: majestic abbeys, perched castles, fortified villages, not forgetting the unmissable Mediterranean beaches less than 40 minutes away.

Here you are in Ferrals-les-Corbières, a lively, friendly village with all the shops and services you need for a comfortable stay. You'll be amazed by the richness of the local heritage: narrow streets, beautiful stone facades, the old washhouse near the town hall, or the museum of contemporary art, set in an unusual location. And for a gourmet break, there's the "En Catimini" restaurant, housed in an elegant mansion nicknamed "le petit château".

The tastefully designed gîte subtly blends authenticity with contemporary touches. Antique wood, antique objects and modern furniture combine to create a warm and original atmosphere. The light-filled living room opens onto a terrace equipped with a shade sail, garden furniture and a gas plancha: the perfect place to enjoy summer evenings.

An 18th-century staircase leads to the first floor:
_A living room/kitchen (induction hob, oven, dishwasher, classic coffeemaker) opening onto the terrace, and on the attic mezzanine: a sleeping area with two 90cm beds.
