Terre d'Etoile

I imagine and realize essentially usual pieces, I like this idea that they then accompany the person who will have chosen them in his daily life.
I form my pieces on the lathe, or sometimes engrave them, engobe them raw, then engrave my drawings freehand before putting the oxide juices of my manufacture on the brush.
This technique of laying "au lavis" on clear slip allows me to obtain a rendering close to watercolour.
After the first firing, I put a transparent food-grade glaze on the biscuit, and I bake at 1070°.
I revisit the tradition with good humour, I like to give shape to the luminous, colourful and greedy universe of a child's look that is placed on the vegetable garden, the kitchen table, or the blackberries picked by the side of the road.
In 2020 my production will be enriched by refined collections in stoneware and porcelain.
