Le Musée du fruit

Welcome to the Musée du Fruit, a unique two-hectare site based in Cagnotte and dedicated to old varieties of fruit trees and new crops. Everything here is grown according to principles inspired by permaculture and agroforestry. Just like in a museum, tours are accompanied by audio guides, tracing the origins of certain fruits back thousands of years to the present day. One of our walking trails invites you to retrace the 12 months of the year through these young orchards. At the end of the trail, you can enjoy the landscaped forest with its swings, picnic area and green theatre hidden under the trees - it's sure to delight young and old alike.

Since its creation in 2015, the Musée du fruit has continually added several hundred different varieties to ensure the preservation of our living heritage.
