At this location, near the Pont de Tuves , the apple-blue Siagne forms a small pebble beach.
It can be reached by a walk starting from the top of the gorge or simply by driving the C hemin de Siagne to the end (parking at the water treatment plant).
The River Siagne is a hidden gem in the South of France – clear, calm and surrounded by beautiful natural surroundings. It is renowned for its turquoise waters , natural swimming spots and wild beauty.
The source is in the Audibergue massif , at an altitude of 640 metres near Escragnolles. The Siagne flows into the Mediterranean Sea 44 km further between Mandelieu-la-Napoule and Théoule-sur-Mer. Especially near Saint-Cézaire there are deep, wild stretches of river with impressive rock faces (Gorges). The river flows through limestone rocks, with many springs, waterfalls and caves .
Some places are suitable for canyoning, fishing or kayaking , but on a limited scale.
