Port de plaisance des Près du Hem

At the heart of the Lys valley, the Prés du Hem marina enjoys an exceptional geographical location, making it one of the region's most strategic river ports of call. At the crossroads of northern Europe's waterways, it is part of a shipping route linking Ghent, Ostend, Dunkirk, Aire-sur-la-Lys and Menin to the Scheldt, via the Roubaix canal - a popular route for Belgian, Dutch, British and German yachtsmen who come here every year to tie up for a stopover.

Approximately 4 hours by boat from Lille and 5 hours from Aire-sur-la-Lys, the port is an ideal stopover for anyone exploring the region's canals. Its 60 berths can accommodate around 50 boats, for a night, a weekend or even all year round, in a green and serene setting.

The reception is meticulous, with the harbourmaster's office and staff on hand, terminal blocks with individual electrical sockets, running water and recently renovated sanitary facilities accessible to people with reduced mobility. Everything is designed to ensure that each stopover is a pleasant, stress-free break, whatever the nationality of the yachtsman.
