Practical organization: there is a shuttle bus running between the start and end points: Navette Blanc-Martel. It is best to reserve this in advance; on the day itself, you can go on-site and if there is still space, you can join...
The shuttle departs from Palud-sur-Verdon (there is also a large parking area) and takes you to the starting point at Chalet la Maline, and you will be picked up again at Point Sublime (the end point of the hike). The cost is 8 euros per person.
The hike itself is fantastic!! Along the way, there is a beautiful picnic spot by the Verdon where you can definitely recharge for the second half of the hike.
At the end, there are also 2 tunnels (definitely provide some light).
Don’t underestimate the difficulty, especially if the weather is a bit warmer!
The altitude meters indicated by RouteYou are incorrect: there are actually 570, so much less than indicated!!
