Colmar complete - stand walk

Whoever says Alsace says Colmar, and whoever says Colmar says Little Venice. But we will also explore the typical half-timbered houses, fountains, storks on the roofs and balconies with geraniums! The storks and geraniums can of course mainly be seen around the month of June. The many terraces invite you to make a day trip out of it.

Free parking on the Rue Henri Wilhelm, but you can also park closer, eg parking Scheuer Kestner (paying). Those who come by train can pick up from the parc du champ-de-mars.

We first pass the important Musée Unterlinden to dive into the old city center via the theater via the rue des têtes. Have you already seen storks in their nests on the roofs? The église des dominicains has beautiful stained glass windows. The parc du champ-de-mars has an old carousel.

We return to the old town with Maison Pfister and the Collégiale St-Martin.

A little further on, Little Venice awaits us, which we reach via the Fontaine Roeselmann. The highlights Pont St-Pierre, Rue Turenne and Rue de la Poisonnerie are not missing. If you want, you can take a boat on the canals in Venetian style...

It continues along the flowered canals, past the marché couvert, the curious brasserie des tanneurs, the Koïfhus, and Place de l'Ancienne Douane with the Fontaine Schwendi.

We return via the Grand Rue with its many boutiques.
