A route of almost 200 km from north to south through Brittany
Voie 8 takes you along quiet country roads through the Breton countryside, from the Bay of Saint-Brieuc to Lorient. Along the way, you will pass the Rigole d’Hilvern, a peaceful canal lined with majestic beech and chestnut trees on either side. Not far from the water are Saint-Thélo and Le Quillio, two villages that bear the marks of their rich industrial past, when fine linen fabrics were woven. Then route 8 follows the towpath along the Blavet between Pontivy and Lorient, which lazily finds its way through the green hilly landscape.
